Lee, Ho Ryon - Overlapping Image: Weaving the Net of Desire, Controlling the Position of Libido

"In addition to the psychological factors from the overlapping images, the use of light changes the visual object into a touchable object and the sensual temperaments are added onto this, creating a new path for the artist’s desire weaving, making it more exquisite and sensual."

360 Degrees to Freetown

Sass & Bide Launches World’s First 360-Degree Shopping Experience

"We wanted to create a concept that captured the spirit of the collection but also one that pushed boundaries in the digital space internationally,” explained Sarah-Jane Clarke, Brand Director, sass & bide. “The format allows our customers to feel like they are in the room, interacting in the space, & that concept alone felt incredibly innovative”.

Sass & Bide is the namesake label of Sarah- Jane Clarke (sass) & Heidi Middleton (bide). A former accountant and advertising art director, they are an anomaly in an industry where fashion college or working as a design assistant is rite of passage.

The full concept can be experienced at the Sass & Bide site.

Photography for the campaign was shot by Terry Gates.

We Come In Piece

"I'm interested in image as a form and, as I've been working at a magazine for three years, fashion has had a significant influence on my projects. Artistically, I take fashion images just as an excuse to create anything else with a different and personal meaning. It's true that sometimes the result is a new concept of fashion image that celebrates it, but that's not my main intention."

Turning a New Leaf

You can always count on nature for inspiration at any time of the year. You don't have to spend a lot of money or time to take a creative retreat. Take an hour and stroll through a park or a long weekend away to create space for creativity to grow.

It's Okay to be Square

Add a little extra sartorial interest with a pocket square. It will not only add an element of variety to your blazer but in a cocktail setting it can make an interesting conversation starter.

The city can get spotty some time. A little flair with a simple outfit can take you a long way.

Bear Necessities

In the early years of his company, Ralph Lauren's staff gifted him with a stuffed bear dressed in one of his signature looks. The design on this limited-edition cotton-and-linen crewneck sweater is inspired by that original Polo Bear.

Lexus Design Disrupted

On September 5th, 2013, LEGS and Lexus brought the worlds of fashion, art and technology to a colliding halt at MADE Fashion Week. Holographic imagery, avant-garde dance and 3D projection mapping fuse and erupt in a stunning and magnetic immersive experience, starring Coco Rocha as the heroine. Directed by Radical Friend and inspired by Giles Deacon’s theatrical collection, the story tracks Rocha as she battles opposing forces on a path to independence from darkness to light, ultimately finding her own liberation.

With Andrew Thomas Huang and Radical Friend as creative directors, LEGS pulled together a stunning technical display, blurring the lines of reality and fiction. Featuring choreography by Ryan Heffington and original musical score by HEALTH, this video captures highlights of the 15 minute performance that sent chills down the spines of its star-studded audience, in a fashion show to remember.
